Workshop: Making Your Work Accessible

  • SPARK:YORK 17-21 Piccadilly York, England, YO1 9PB United Kingdom (map)

A workshop for creatives who want to start embedding accessibility into their practice.

This workshop, led by Noah of Blueglasses UK, will discuss how creatives can make their work more accessible.

Accessibility is a vital consideration within arts and culture, with all funders now asking for evidence that you have attempted to mitigate access barriers when putting together shows, exhibitions and performances.

This workshop is designed to get you thinking empathetically when it comes to access needs, and will give you a range of first hand perspectives to learn from.

Please arrive between 3:20pm and 3:30pm for a 3:30pm start.

------

Following this workshop we will host our regular monthly social - Creative Drinks - from 6pm to 10pm.

Please select a combined ticket if you would like to join us at creative drinks.

------

This workshop will take place in SPARK's events space, which is located upstairs at the back of the site. There is a lift on site, located towards the front of the site.

If you have other access needs please email contact@yorkcreatives.com to discuss your access requirements.
