Bio
After a career in business development with a side business as a visual artist I have come into the screen industries and XR later in my life.
Previously I have been Head of Science City York, which included running a creative industries network and connecting me to a wealth of talent across the Yorkshire region and enabling me to have strategic influence over many aspects of the creative environment in the region.
After leaving that role I became a self employed consultant and mentor for the Creative industries and specifically the screen based industries, and work with Creative UK, Screen Industries Growth Network, XR Stories and Digital Creativity Labs at the University of York. As part of that work I have been developing training programmes for SIGN to support freelancers and screen based businesses to set up, grow their practices and collaborate.
