How To Tell Your Story So People Listen - a workshop on establishing credibility in your field

  • Spark:York 17-21 Piccadilly York, England, YO1 9NX United Kingdom (map)

We all have ideas, dreams and aspirations. Some of us carefully set goals and targets for the things we want to do, others just make a start and decide to figure the rest out along the way.

Whichever approach you take, you will eventually need to convince other people to buy into your idea - whether that’s by attending your event, buying your products or services, investing in your business, or simply spreading the word about what it is you’re trying to do.

This workshop is designed to improve your skills as a storyteller, teaching you how to share ideas in a way that resonates with your target audience and builds your reputation as a person of action.

The workshop is led by Ben Porter, founder of York Creatives. Ben has built a thriving creative community with little more than a laptop and a camera. Alongside his community work he cofounded a film production company, making his living telling stories for commercial clients including Adidas, Absolut and Sony.
